Despite humble beginnings growing up in the Dominican Republic, Albert has set the example for achieving greatness through determination and dedication. That includes the efforts of his Pujols Family Foundation, created by Albert and his wife Diedre to provide love, care and development of people with Down Syndrome as well as to impoverished families in the Dominican Republic.
